Cooperative Divorce Process
As in the collaborative process approach to divorce, cooperative process helps to maintain relationships that originated in love. During this process, the attorneys for both parties cooperate in good-faith negotiations and agree to voluntarily disclose all pertinent case information.
Attorneys approaching a divorce cooperatively make every effort to settle the case without animosity and court involvement. Unlike collaborative divorce process, a cooperative approach allows each party’s attorney to continue representation if the case should require litigation.
The team at Carter Family Law Group has helped many clients transition their relationships gracefully through the cooperative process.
